John “Jack” R. Pattison, age 71, of Kingston, passed away on Saturday, August 6th, 2022 at his home surrounded by his family. He was the devoted husband of 49 years to Katherine (Scipione) Pattison. Loving father of Adam Pattison and his wife Amanda of Epping NH, and Daniel Pattison and his wife Caity of Plymouth. He was the brother of Barbara Davis, Elizabeth Kulas, David Pattison, Donna Leonard, and the late James Pattison, Margaret Cruickshank, Nancy Petito, Mary Pattison, and Martha Pattison. Jack is also survived by his grandsons Finnigan and Harrison, as well as many nieces, nephews, and Godchildren..

Born in Woburn MA on September 3, 1950, son of the late Harold C. and Sarah (Clark) Pattison. Jack grew up in Burlington and Chelmsford. He was a graduate of Chelmsford High School, Massachusetts College of Art, and later achieved his masters from Bridgewater State University. Jack made his career as an art teacher for the Town of Pembroke for over 35 years. He worked for numerous schools in the Pembroke System. Starting at the Center School and retiring from Bryantville. Jack was a natural leader and was extremely active in more organizations and activities then one could count. He was a Deacon, and Sexton, at the First Congregational Church in Marshfield, having raised his family there. He was active with the Pembroke Art Festival every year. Jack was an avid outdoorsman, and loved hiking, and bringing the family camping in New Hampshire and Maine. Most notably Wild River with the Galli family. He was the ultimate car guy. He owned numerous classic and muscle cars like MG’s and Mustangs. Following retirement, Jack began making birdhouses out of reclaimed wood, which he lovingly dubbed “bird mansions”. His bird mansions became quite popular with the local arts and crafts community. Kathie and Jack also traveled extensively. They cruised to many destinations, flew to California, and won an amazing trip to Ireland at a Kiwanis fundraiser. Jack touched so many lives and will be missed by all his family and friends. Especially for his great sense of humor.
